Freedom for Life in Christ

At Freedom Baptist Schools, we offer much more than strong academics and good moral training. We equip our students to articulate what they believe and why they believe it. Every area of study begins and ends with God's Word. Our graduates are grounded in historical western thought and culture. They are able to identify and understand scientific and mathematical principles in God's creation and appreciate various forms of artistic expression. Our alumni possess knowledge, academic skills, biblical insights, and attitudes enabling them to be God-honoring adults effecting change and growth in our society. Their lives are Christ-centered in thought and action.

Students learn to see the world (created by God, smudged by sin, and restored again in Christ), through the lens of the Bible. We offer an education that models, and clearly articulates that God is Sovereign, that He is active in the affairs of man and that He sustains the universe He created for His glory. God is left out of nothing. He takes second place to nothing and He is honored in all. Our students understand their faith and are able to explain, defend and share it with others.

While rigorous academics play an important role in preparing students for life in Christ, balanced, Christ-centered, healthy family oriented living is also critical. Curriculum, spiritual activities (such as chapel), co-curricular activities, music and athletics are all fully integrated and coordinated around the Bible enabling students to serve and glorify Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Freedom serves as a ministry to assist students, parents, and the church in carrying out the universal responsibility of knowing God more, and serving Him better.

In every classroom our students experience:

  • Freedom for exploration of God's work and ordered universe
  • Freedom for focusing on God's work in today's culture and man's deviations from God in history
  • Freedom for teaching logic so students reason well because God is a God of reason and our faith is faith of reason
  • Freedom for studying the great works of Western culture, equipping students to understand the culture we seek to impact with God's Word
  • Freedom for eloquence and skillful writing and speech to better address our culture with God's message
  • Freedom for allowing every inquiry to begin with God's Word and assuring all conclusions are consistent with God's Word
  • Freedom for daily prayer for fellow students, their families, their community and their world
  • Freedom for one-on-one nurturing and discipleship by our teachers
  • Freedom for working as a community to meet God's Deut. 6 command to parents
  • Freedom for exploring gifts and talents God has individually provided them so their lives will further His kingdom
  • Freedom for demonstrating godly values in every aspect of life
  • Freedom for effective ministry in the lives of other people
  • Freedom . . .
          for life . . .
              in Christ
